Ahmed Arajiga Appointed by CAF to Play the African Champions Club Match
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed a famous referee from Tanzania, Ahmed Ally Arajiga, to serve as the head referee in an important match of the CAF Champions League. Arajiga, who hails from the Manyara region, will be in charge of the game between Red Star of Central Africa and Djoliba AC de Bamako from Mali.
The game of the preliminary stages of the tournament is expected to be played on Saturday, August 17, at 17:00 in the evening, at the Stade Japoma Stadium, in Mali. Arajiga’s appointment by CAF shows great respect for his reputation and ability as the best football referee in Africa.
Arajiga is a highly respected referee in Tanzania and in Africa in general, known for his professionalism and accuracy in making decisions on the field. For two consecutive seasons, Arajiga has emerged as the Best Central Referee in Tanzania, thus confirming his position as one of the senior football referees in this East African region.
