The head coach of Azam FC, Rachid Taoussi, has said that if every player commits to 80 percent, he believes the team can win the championship this season.
Speaking to the SportiLEO newspaper, the coach from Morocco explained that despite the challenges in the league, he has discovered that some of his players have lost the spirit to fight, a situation that has led to a lack of victory in some games.
“We cannot watch the matches between Simba and Yanga, we need to raise our spirits as they do. After seeing this, I have spoken to my players asking each of them to give 80 percent to win the championship at the end of this season,” said Taoussi.
Coach Taoussi also explained that the secret of Simba and Yanga’s success is their players’ commitment to every match. He wants his players to follow that example this season to achieve their goals. Although Azam FC has not started well this season compared to its opponents, Taoussi believes they still have a chance to correct their mistakes and emerge champions.
Currently, Azam FC is third in the league, with 15 points after eight matches. The team will return to action on October 29, against Ken Gold at the Azam Complex.
